The NOVA Applied Economics & Analytics Lab was established to utilize data-driven techniques across various aspects of modern applied economics. Our expertise spans econometrics (including time-series forecasting, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and causal inference) and broader quantitative studies in science and technology, energy economics and sustainability, public procurement, economic complexity, and economic geography. We strive to reveal how social and techno-economic dynamics operate as complex systems. We aim to understand the forces that shape our constantly evolving regulatory and societal landscape.
